Hi all, very cool website and the evo video is excellent, a link to it was posted on our Wu Shu Kwan web site (ickungfu.co.uk) and we are all really impressed.
Anyway, how old can you be to start tricking and do you need any facilities like a gymnastics gym?? I'm 23 and been doing martial arts for years but nothing so acrobatic. The old facilities i get access to is a large hall?

I can barely even be classed as a newbie when it comes to tricking but would say there is definatly nothing resembling an age limit, especially for someone who is clearly active like yourself. Anyway i think this is one for the team.

there is really no age limit, if you think u can do stuff do it, obviously dnt go for the crazy stuff first start with basics and build yaself up, also u dont need any thing really unless u are really unconfident, but as you have a back ground of martial art skills I would try tricks in the sand pit, then obviously try them on ground and experiment, soz 4 the l8 reply m8 Scott ;D

Hiya mAte scotts advice wasnt to sharp lol so ... Id say for starting tricking...firstly..u need to be in good shape...and since you do wushu Kwan im sure your in great shape So thats all good...i guess it starts with basic flips and kicks...like backflips...front flips...then stuff like wirlwind kicks, any type of jumping kicks..then once you get the basics you just move on to more difficult moves...i watched others from tv etc..and just keept trying them..so watch some vids on the net..specific moves..then try to understand how they work and whats needed to pull them off..then give it a go..if you can in somwhere safe...a gym is good..or a hall with basic mats is fine....we didnt have nothing 2 start with..so we used a sand pit ;D payed off tho.....umm so yer to start off.....just get your body up to a good level of fitness..flexability strength etc....find somewhere safe to do them...watch some videos to get an idea of what to try..then atempt them..for backflips etc find people to help you out.....but the front flip was our first move...and it needs no help at all....just the will to do it and a focus level....its all in the mind...trust me well its 1 48 am and im well tired... gona sleep now...hope its helped bro,..need anything else just post up my man,,,also add your wu shu Kwan site in our list...if you havent already..im too tired to check lol Nite lol chase
