Well I've been actively exercising and working out(stretches, weights, jumping, rolls/flips) for about 3 months now, went from being scrawny to about 25lbs of muscle through protein shakes, high mineral intake and multivitamins, yet for some reason Im getting alot of join popping in my daily routines.
I never really feel anything but its concerning, I'd guess its just a natural part of gaining muscle and bulking up along with the natural flexibility increase, but not positive since my knee cracks somewhat loud when i crouch now and my shoulders are popping alot.
I come from doing nothing physical for years so thats my only reasoning to that idea, so after a long rant, anyone have any input?

Sometimes my joints pop a bit if i do not warm up and relax my muscles enough before a work out...
Joint popping can occur due to muscular tension, if the muscles are over developed and tight etc so strecthing and exercises like tai chi/yoga can help...
Other causes of joint popping are the escape of gases which is normal as the synovial joint fluid contains carbon dioxide nitrogen and oxygen... Another cause is a movement of tendons, a cracking sound occurs when it pops back into place. Thirdly, arthiritic joints may cause popping when the cartilage is worn down...
If it hurts when it cracks you should see a physio, i could try and explain some exercises that would help but writing them down is confusing lol and better said by a professional physio...
My opinion is tht your muscles have developed very fast in comparison to most people - ESPECIALLY if you started using protein shakes etc at the beginning - and maybe your joints/tendons/ligaments are not as flexible as they should be when compared to muscle form...so i would advise lots of stretching to increase flexibilty in your shoulders etc....
my random thoughts lol - hope something helps/ is appropriate...if you want to know anythign in any more detail just ask...

Happens to me everytime I bench press anything over 150. Left shoulder, but only the left one.
