boxing to music ?
I did boxing for a few months, found out I was wasting my time because thai boxing is so much better, so now I do that. Currently waiting for someone to kick off so I can pop'em in the chin with a moi thai flying elbow of the rising sun.... of masterful jipsies who like garlic bread.

Beatboxin commonly refers to the act of creating rhythmic sounds with various parts of the body; particularly the throat, mouth and hands. Philosophically, "Beatboxin" is about seeing the body as an instrument. Earlier versions of this expression included "Handbone" or "Hambone."
It is a real skill, much respect for the people who have skills at this.

so THAT'S Beatboxing. I always thougt it would be a rhythmical way of shadow boxing. I drum so I "sing" rhythems all day. but i guess you cant really call it beatboxing which rather refers to the high art many mc's anticipate. Those guys are really great at imitating sounds. you wouldnt believe that what you are hearing is a human voice. Though i can "sing" rather fast and funky rhythems, but i cant imitate the sounds very well. (my teacher is d**n fast! he scats faster than i play!)

I won a duet championship beatboxing last year up at Yarmouth, did Smooth Criminal and NERD Lapdance. I got taught be Killa Kella at the PS2 Experience and caarried it on from there. I'm always doing it at jams to pass the time when we're looking for spots. Usually get everyone in on it...

it must take a lot of dicipline to practice beatboxing... i can hardly imagine. if you play the drums for four years with regular practice you will be able to play jazz or anything you want. but practicing to imitate sounds, seems tough to me. though its fun to sing rhythems
btw - i admit that beatboxing is quite a safe activity, though i cant see what its doing in the safe-t forum
