i agree...i have 8 but its because i have a body fat percentage of 9% which is a little to low..my metabolism is too fast lol and all the training curbs my appetite...
i find the top six people have whether they are really fit or not, hte bottom two only showed when i started doing loads of leg raises...its wierd and different for everyone...

It's all about the body fat. You can have the meanest muscles but if you have a huge belly no one is going to see them, makes sense huh?

Mostly agree.
but yeh, some people can only develop up to a 4 pac. You can notice this on a lot of bodybuilders.

I don't beleive that. Only people with a physical deformity would only ever be able to get a 4 pac. Not that it really matters, you have what you have. This is more about how to maximise what you have been given than extreme cases.

I learnt in biology, and i do degree in biology mate But yeh, fat plays a role in showing it, but imo not as much as actually training ur abs and gettin a good size and definition to it.

You simply do not understand what i have said. If you had you would not agree with me and say you do not. When stating it is all about fat i was talking purely about visibility. Which is all about fat, you can have the best or worst abs in the world but if you have to much fat they will not show and if you have to little they will. You may be studying biology as everyone has at some point but it is irrelevant, i disagree. The cases of someone having a body so far removed from the natural norm is an extreme case. But i say again, it doesn't matter. It is completely irrelevant and this line of debate is helping no-one. This is "help & advice" not a debate thread but if you wana talk about it more just message me thats cool.

i have to disagree. having a pac does not require 'just' low body fat. take marathon runners for example they have extremely low body fat but they don't have the pac your probably after. obviously having low body fat does make them more visible but you still have to make them stronger as well through situps and other exercises Marathon runners dont do power training like freerunners do (although all the marathon runners I've seen do have pacs), Its obvious that muscle size matters but this guy does training and still cant see results, so its most prob his body fat.

It is genetics where the tendons run on each muscle, same way the main blood vessels on ur arms cannot be changed, only the small minor ones...

Genetics plays a big role in whether or not you will have defined abs. Most people actually have an 8-pack, but weak tendon divisions don't always define the bottom row. Along with eating right and doing aerobic exercise, you need to make the abdominal muscles grow by doing exercises that use weights or positions that keep the resistance high and the repititions low(8-15). According to Men's Health magazine, a body-fat percentage of around 10% is needed for really nice abs.

The visibility is mostly about your body fat percentage and then how much you train it. END ) If you ever saw some professional bodybuilders(I mean in the real life), they are just fat! You cant nearly see any cut muscles, just a bit of an outline. And when there´s some competition they take a special diet and whoala you got them as in a TV.
