Heh, all you guys make me out to be an alcoholic. Heh, I only really drink when I'm with friends probably once or twice a week and its just vodka. A bit too much for my liking but training is coming first...

Yeah and i am sure there is nothing wrong with that, its just about your main intake. I don't really like alchohol thats why i barely drink it. Plus, didnt think you were an alcoholic m8.

I also think that alcoholic drinks can drain your body of water. just think about the thirst you have the morning after you drank too much. It seems paradox but drinking alk makes you thirsty. my chemistry teacher used to call it "minus-drinks" (coffee, alk, cola, ...)
my favorite drinks: tee (lots of water and lots of positive effects)
anyhow: a beer or tequilla every now and then wont harm you (i think)

Heh, I got obscenely wasted last night to celebrate a friend's birthday and I'm really going off it now. Its all tasting nasty to me and I was thinking: "If I drink this, I'm not gonna be able to train tomorrow". Then I realised there was too much ice outside to train so down with the shots I went. Did 18 Vodka shots and lost to a girl by half a shot and thats all because the bottle ran out! I felt so bitter...

Truely is and its all i drink, it is in my opinion the best thing you can possibly give your body. Seems obvious and slightly cliche' but I feel it is somewhat overlooked. I have a large circle of friends who are dedicated to keeping healthy and training but the only thing they do not accept (not all of them) is how important this drink is. I would begin to explain its benifits but this post would be to long you would stop reading So more details can be found here www.trickstutorials.com they have an interesting section on water under the channels tab. lol, I totaly know what you mean, think of it this way. the human body is 80% water or whatever, so without water "you will die" so the more the better imo, drink it up!

about 65%... depends on the person of course but we are over 95% fluid (but fat also counts as fluid)

The percentage of course is irrelevant, needless to say we have alot of water within us and therefore need alot to function. When i say that we should drink alot of water i am not banging on about the advised minimum per day. Its just if you drink alot and i mean alot, basically if you do not get dehydrated your ability to perform is greatly increased. There is the fact that it is nice to drink and makes you feel refreshed etc but this is technicaly a matter of opinion. Its positive effects in terms of performance are fact. Everyone who does not should drink copious amounts of water for a week and decide for themselves if it makes a difference.
