i tried frontflips today and landed on my butt (lol the forum changes "my a.ss" to "I disagree". (and once straight on my back) wasnt that bad though (sand pit). My question: is it more about technique or jumping power?

I'd say it's more about technique ... I've landed some frontflips that I thought, taking off, were going to put my face in the ground, and I've failed to stick some where I was up in the air for several seconds. The jumping power gets you nothing if it's not in the right direction, and if your body doesn't close and re-open in the right ways at the right time.

When my little brother tried a front flip for the first time a few months ago he did it on a pile of grass. But somehow he managed to miss the grass and i think he broke his tail bone or badly bruised it . It was quite funny because he couldnt walk properly and he told our mum that he did it playing football. if your going to try a front flip just go for it. My brother only hurt himself because he is an idiot
