Hey all, Cool site, great to see a forum so free of flaming with so many friendly people willing to help . Name: Andrew Age: 21 Location: Middlesbrough, UK Interests: Too many to mention really but they include martial arts, sports like badmington, pool, tennis and football, lockpicking, computer security and programming, aswell as things like psychology, NLP, philosophy, astronomy and drawing etc etc. You get the idea, the list goes on ;D. PK background: none sadly . I studied Lau Gar kung fu for a few months and doce pares eskrima for less, so my practical background in martial arts doesn't quite measure up to my interest in it. Ive been searching for wushu classes for a while now but I havn't been able to find any in the North East... If anyone knows of classes id love to hear from you. And finally... ive added PK to my list of interests , i hope i can help and be helped via the forum, as reading it for the last few days has already provided me with more inspiration and motivation then i think ill need for the entire year. Anyways, enough from me, thanks for taking the time to read... >RooJ

Hey Roo welcome to the forums mate Making the jump from theory/reading up to practice can be tricky but it's so worth it! You've just got to wake up one day, roar at the top of your lungs, get up and do it. p.s. the roar part is *NOT* optional Enjoy your stay

Welcome, Roo. Metorical's right; just do it and you'll get it eventually. Just... don't give only 50%... it hurts...

hi im edd have been doing parkour since i saw the Jump Britain t.v. program...tho i wanted to do it when i saw the jump london one but i never did =/ i have been going around the local area with mates just looking for things to do which is good fun a goal i have at the moment, is to jump off our school library roof...its about 13-14 ft or so....the only thing im really scared of is the teachers!!! they suspended my mate for jumping out a window on the ground level...and this is a roof....ah well if i do get suspended or something it just means ive got more time to parkour!! oh yea, seen your videos they are awsome - really inspiring keep it up l8rz
